On-vehicle inspection
- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove ig1 relay
- Remove the ig1 relay from the instrument panel junction block.
- Inspect relay
- Measure resistance of the ig1 relay.
Standard resistance 
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Install ig1 relay
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
