Inspection
- Inspect unlock warning switch assembly
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance 
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
Ecu power source circuit
Description
This circuit provides power to operate the transponder key ecu.

Inspection procedure
- Inspect fuse (ecu-b2)
- Remove the ecu-b2 fuse from the engine room no. 2 Relay block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
below 1 
- Check wire harness (transponder key ecu - battery and body ground)
- Disconnect the e46 ecu connector.
- Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Security indicator light circuit
Description
When the transponder key is registered, the transponder key ecu indicates the
key registration condition
by lighting up, blinking or turning off the security indicator.

do not remove the hole plug before connecting the
brake tube. new actuators are filled with brake fluid.
Install the actuator with bracket with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 19 n*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*Lbf)

Connect the intelligent tester (with can vim) to the
dlc3.
Turn the ignition switch on and turn the intelligent
tester on.
