Hint:
- Use the same procedures for the rh side and lh side.
- The procedures listed below are for the lh side.
- Install rear door belt moulding assembly lh
- Attach the claws to install the moulding.
Hint:
Confirm that the moulding is firmly installed.
- Install rear door trim board subassembly lh (see page ed-53)
- Install rear door armrest base panel upper lh (see page ed-54)
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
Removal
Hint:
Use the same procedures for the rh side and lh side.

Disconnect cable from negative battery
terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 ...

Disconnect cable from negative battery
terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to
prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
Remove engine room no. 2 Relay block

Brake booster
Installation

Install check valve grommet
Install the grommet to the booster.
Install brake vacuum check valve
assembly
Install the check valve to the grommet.
Install brake booster gasket
Install a new gasket to the booster.
Install brake ...
Reassembly (2006/01- )
Install front drive shaft bearing (for rh)
Install the bearing bracket snap ring to the inboard
shaft.
Using sst and a press, press in the drive shaft
bearing to the inboard joint rh.
Sst 09527-10011, 09710-04081
Notice:
The bearing should be installed completely.
